About the Space
We are building a neurodivergent ND assigned female at birth (AFAB) community based on body doubling, with no pressure options of working and learning alongside others.
This is a judgment-free zone designed to help us overcome isolation through community and shared momentum.
The Schedule (12:00 PM – 2:00 PM)
12:00 PM – 12:45 PM: Part 1 – The Skill Share - Come to Learn
Focus: A 30–45 minute demo of a specific craft or skill by an excellent human willing to share their knowledge and experience.
Examples: Art journaling, poetry, sewing, knitting, crocheting, or makeup techniques.
Vibe: No pressure to master it! Just watch, listen, and learn something new. Note: If this month’s skill isn’t for you, feel free to start your own craft quietly in the background.
12:45 PM – 1:00 PM: Social Break A 15-minute bio-break.
Social Time: Informal chat. Grab a snack, refill your water, and show off what you’re working on.
1:00 PM – 2:00 PM: Part 2 – The Crafter-noon - Optional: Bring Your Own Craft
The Activity: Practice your new skill, or bring your own ‘pile of denial’, knitting, drawing, or just looking up and planning a future hyperfocus
The Goal: Learning with our ND community, and using the group’s energy to push past task paralysis.
Community Guidelines / Rules of Engagement
To ensure this space remains safe and accessible for everyone:
-
Camera Optional: If joining online, you are welcome to keep your camera off (lurk) if you are feeling overstimulated. We are a neurodivergent space; comfort comes first. Joining in or speaking is optional; the space is yours to adapt, interact, or share as you feel comfortable.
-
Come as You Are: You do not need to produce a finished product. The goal is connection and momentum. Perfection is not preferred.
